IOSL Rakover speaks to God ...

Dear friend:

This story shaken my soul. Break all the formalities and conventions.

I want to share with you all, although many already know, but not everything is shared, although not easily understandable, even if it hurts a lot in the soul, is worth reading !.

IOSL Rakover speaks to God ...

Warsaw, April 28, 1943

I IOSL Rakover of Tarnopol, a hassid Gur, a descendant of honorable and holy ancestors of the illustrious families Rakover and Maisels, I write these lines while the Warsaw ghetto is on fire.

The house where I'm writing is one of the last that has not been touched by fire. Gone are a lot of hours since the terrible fire of artillery was directed against us, and many walls around me crumble like matchboxes. Do not be long before the house in which I become the same as other houses in the ghetto: to bury their advocates and residents.

notice that this dark.

The red sun's rays penetrate through the hole in the window through which we were shooting the enemy. The sun does not know how happy I will not see him again.

When my wife, my six children and I hid in the forest, the night was only the cache and offered us shelter. Daylight meant facing our mortal enemies.
always
will remember the terrible day when a rain of German bombs fell on the head of the refugees in Warsaw and Grodno. With the dawn came the planes and planted the murder and death. During that attack murderer lost my wife and the baby of seven months he held in his arms. The same day two of my children disappeared and three others perished in the ghetto.
I have forty years of age, and when I look back at past years, I can say with certainty, both as a man can afford to be confident, leading a right life.

I can not say after all that I endured, my relationship with God s not changed, however, I can say that my faith has not wavered not one whit.

In the past, in good times, my attitude was a Di-s debt and deep gratitude for His goodness. Now I feel that he owes me something. So I think I have the right to demand something from him

However, I will not say like Job, "please let me know why you punish me."
People bigger and better than I know that the question now is not a punishment for sins Rather, it is something very special.

Di-s have hidden His face, so to speak, the world, so human beings are delivered into the hands of inhuman creatures.

I think, to my great regret, that whenever evil rules the world, it is quite natural and inevitable that those who represent the pure and the Divine must be the first victims.

This is not very comforting.

However, the fate of our nation never determined by natural causes but depends on the natural, spiritual and Divine.
why people of faith should see these events as part of the great wisdom of the Almighty.

Compared to this, the importance of the human tragedies is rather insignificant.

This does not mean that religious Jews should accept the verdict and said that everything for which the punishment is right. This would be a desecration of Di-s, and a desecration of themselves.
Naturally, in such circumstances I do not expect miracles and I ask God to have mercy s me.

not try to run away from here.

Rather helps another flame throwing gasoline on my clothes me.
Now, when I have the opportunity to see the world with a clear vision, an opportunity rarely given to man before he died, I can see a fundamental difference between our God-s and theirs.

Di-s to say the least, is a Di-s revenge, our Torah perceives the death penalty almost insignificant things. However, when the great Sanhedrin, our supreme judicial court condemned a man to be executed as often as once every seventy years was called murderers cut. In comparison, their god has called to love their enemies, and yet so our blood was shed for almost 200 years on behalf
I only have three bottles of gasoline and I are so precious as wine for the drunk. After emptying one on myself, I will bring these lines I write it now.

hide it somewhere deep in the window and if anyone ever finds it and reads it, probably understand the feelings of a Jew, one of the millions who perished abandoned by the Di-s on whom so much thought.

With the two remaining bottles slay the wicked Germans.
I am proud to be Jewish, not the world grieved because of your conduct with us, but because of this. I have been ashamed to belong to those people who grew up as the evil creatures that plague us now.

I am proud of being Jewish because it is very difficult to be so. I think that being Jewish means to be a fighter, swimming forever against the tide of corruption and wickedness of men.
Jew, is a tormented hero, a martyr.

You say, perhaps, that the question now is not reward and punishment, but rather as it were, hiding in your presence, which explains that human beings are given the power of men of evil. But Di-s, make you a question that consumes me, what more has to happen to the children of Israel to show up before us Tu Te again?

I feel that I have to talk openly.
Now, more than any time in our history of endless suffering, humiliation and degradation. Do we, us, now we are trampled as worms, buried and burned, degraded, humiliated and destroyed by the millions, the right to know how long can you be so patient?

Another thing I would say, and forgive me for it: Do not throw too much of the strings might break.
The proof that you've put us so hard, so hard and bitter, I ask you to forgive those of us who have turned against you. Sorry to those you have left because of his misfortune, also forgive those who have left you because of your success.

went-and still are, engaged in a relentless battle against the world. That is why the cowards among us run away. Please do not punish, the cowards they are not punished, one feels pity for cowards. Again I ask, please forgive. Their suffering is so terrible that they have lost their faith that You're his father.

I tell you this because I believe in you more than ever. I know now that you are my Di-s. You can not possibly be their God-s because their horrific acts are the expression of a vicious absence of divinity. But if you do not you show me as my Di-s, then what of who you are Di-s? Of the murderers? If those who hate me are so dark and evil, then I must be constantly carries some of your light and goodness.

Death can not wait any longer. I have to finish writing. The shots are increasingly drowned. Our heroic defenders last fall one by one.
Warsaw, the beautiful, big city full of fear Di-s, the Warsaw Jewish dying.
The sun is setting and I thank Di-s that will see him again.
For the small opening in the window I can see that the sky is red as a pillar of blood. In no time I am with my wife and children and millions of my people who have perished in the world which is all good, which no doubt, in which Di-s reigns supreme.

I die in peace but not happy, beaten but not in despair. Die believing in God-s. I followed him when he departed from them. I turned the Mitzvot although I was punished. Love him though he leads me to the lowest level, which we have become fun and laughter among nations.

My Rebbe used to tell a story of a Jew who escaped with his wife and children of the English Inquisition. In a small boat finally came to a rocky island. The sea was rough and the weather was horrible. Lightning flashed and killed his wife. A terrible wave threw her child into the sea.
Solo, naked, barefoot, scared and terrified, came to the island. With his last ounce of strength he turned his eyes to heaven and said:
"Lord of the universe can escape here to serve without hindrance, to fulfill Your commandments and sanctify Your name. But you do everything to get me to leave my religion. If you think you will win stray from the straight path, I declare before you, my Di Di-s and-s from my parents, that this will never happen.

can become depressed, you can take the best of me. You can punish me to death. I always will trust in you . I will remain a Jew, and nothing in the world I will change "

These are also my last words.
Nothing will change. You've done everything that I deny thee, that I do not trust you.

But die as I lived, with a fierce faith in you. Shema Israel
Elokeinu Hashem Hashem Echad! Hear O Israel, Gd is our Lord s, Di-s is one!

Funny Scottish Saying

"The South African lesbians wanting to be seen as more than victims "

photographer and activist Zanele Muholi documents the struggle for visibility l ad and against violations "corrective"

According to the latest map on the rights of gays and lesbians in the world, conducted by the International Federation of ILGA, homosexuality is punished with the death penalty in Mauritania, Saudi Arabia Sudan, Iran, Yemen, Somalia and Islamic north of Nigeria. Additionally, there are 72 countries that condemn so harsh relations between persons of the same sex. Faced with these forces of oppression s liberating weapons drawn as photography and video of Zanele Muholi.

"I decided to capture images in my community to contribute to greater democracy and representativeness of the history of South African lesbians, "says Muholi.

The South African visual artist and activist has won, among others, the House of Africa Award for the best photographer. Women, black lesbian , his work is permeated by two constants: the representation of the life of South African lesbians, group that suffers the disgrace of corrective rape and contempt and incomprehension in their country and also the unfair division of classes in the world around him.

Born in Umlazi in 1972, training and professional photographer, has also worked for the Forum Women's empowerment (FEW), a black lesbi ana based in Gauteng, and as a photographer and reporter for Behind the mask (Behind the Mask), a magazine for lesbian and gay community in Africa. His work or frank and intimate, challenging the way in which he represented black women's bodies in documentary photography. Recognized internationally, has worked in video art, writing and other forms of representation, as a means for social change through activism or "artivism." Muholi documents the history of lesbians in South African post-apartheid era.

City Cape (second most populous African country) is considered bay as the world capital of the violation. In South Africa a girl is more likely to be raped than learning to read, a quarter suffer sexual assault before the age of 16 years s. This reality is compounded by the sadly known as corrective rape, a common practice to "cure" lesbianism.

Women, lesbian and black in South Africa. What would you highlight of the persons comprising such identities?

underline first thing is that black lesbians are women. Have the same functions and responsibilities of all women. Bleed like any being, are able to care for, love, protect, have feelings (with the six senses) can pr ocher, suffer grief and deal with education and training of others ... The homophobic choose to perceive social deviant who have the moral clueless. We are loving beings. We are grandmothers, mothers, sisters, aunts, daughters, cousins, lovers and guardians of our relatives. It is important that we see as more than victims or survivors of those crimes hate, because if we become not just a cliche. We are able to play other roles, and we're showing in our communities.

"How would you describe your work as a photographer?

as privileged within the lesbian community, work h ago is both self-reflection as well as a representation of myself and others. Pictures from our lives, not only my life but ours. Intimacy and relationships are essential

in my photography. Any woman who has known the experience of feeling and exploring the body of another woman understand its meaning and how it contributes to support those who can not speak freely in their homes and localities. The work is about our history, weaving the past and present. L people in the photographs have a full understanding of who they are and how they became the people who are at this time. I'm interested laas identities, sometimes complex, who claim our being. In most photos capture a woman's body because for me is the way, an art, a material, an aesthetic, a landscape and a teacher. My photography is about love, life, pain, loss and everything we learn through various journeys that women experience in love with other women. They also claim that my work is a reference to inform, educate, and share our black lesbian culture and, most importantly, to entertain those who have the same feelings.

Although my art is open to interpretation, my goal is to express and share some of the daily experiences that we as black lesbians in our spaces. For example, gender, sexuality and class are evident in some of my projects, while others talk about the similarities and equality. Another of my approach is the policy of "bodywork" look to the skin as a material and shape. Although our common sexuality keeps us together, we're still different.

Is art a political and civil for a change?

That's true on both counts. Its universality can be understood through the borders because art knows no borders, identity, gender, sexuality, race or class. It is easily accessible and the viewer has the right to create their own interpretation. The purity of the innocent and viable art makes all contributions, especially if they are with strange eyes.

Tell us about your book "Faces and phases" (Faces and Phases)

In "Faces and Phases' present our existence and strength through positive images of black gay and (especially lesbians) in South African society and beyond. Show our aesthetic through portraits. Historically, memorable portraits serve as records for lovers, family and friends.

With "phases" refer to the transition between stages of expression of sexuality or gender ity. With "expensive" I also appeal to face to face which was established between myself as a photographer and activist lesbian, and lesbians, many women and transsexuals who have interacted with the different places.

This paper articulates a collective pain. It is an experience of a community that has suffered the loss of friends and acquaintances through hate crimes and disease. Some of those who participated in this project have already died visual.

His work is controversial at home ...

These conclusions were extracted with misconceptions and lack of knowledge of identity politics. I see nothing controversial about the re-write or re-representation of a visual history of black lesbians in South Africa and beyond. It is our responsibility to document our own lives before our voices are silenced, or before someone speak on our behalf. The different forms of violence, especially the "curative rape" and murder of lesbian, are used as a tool to oppress us. While people like us exist, we have an obligation to project ourselves as ourselves. Truly say that my work is controversial is to agree with hate speech. I feel that the goal is to silence my form of expression.

Difficult Love Her documentary, screened at the festival Zinegoak for the first time in Europe, is a film about love, about violence, about the fight ...

The film is about love, pain , loss, displacement, activism, poverty, homelessness, race matters, home, family environment, membership, hate crimes, class, and as articulate all this different levels of life. It also shows how to affect me the lives of people: the dynamics that are generated when I learn and reflect from their experiences. In the documentary, hear the testimony of participants and learning how to overcome of challenges every day. Some people need time to recover from what they experienced, for example, a survivor of a hate crime.

The documentary, which was commissioned by the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) in 2010, deals with sensitive issues is about the lives of an oppressed community. We were given the opportunity to do this project for national television. Although the issue date has not yet been confirmed by the broadcaster, we have issued it in several places. Other film festival programmers have asked for their release.

What is behind this terrible form of violence against women?

homophobia, xenophobia, transphobia. It is sheer madness that men rape women because they see fit. It's his way of oppressing the vulnerable. Some men see lesbians as a threat and do not understand how two women can love each other or how a woman can choose a woman above them. They feel that they alone have the right to the lower region of women. And another factor is a society where the law protects us, where there is a lack of justice that dominates women. That hurts!

Forgotten movement black lesbian feminist?

I think not. In South Africa, several organizations have joined and formed alliances to fight against many forms of violence, especially violence against women. There are organizations that do not focus on gay issues, but reported hate crimes as "corrective rape", the queerphobia , transphobia and xenophobia.

A final message to continue the fight against intolerance?

One can not stop doing these projects (the radical projects of art and photography). If our neighbors fight the system of apartheid, you can also fight against all forms of discrimination and oppression that aim to silence, move, break down and undermine our human rights as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex in Africa and beyond .

What Is White Lotion Like Discharge

The 10 plagues that afflict the world

During the night of Monday April 19, 2011, I conducted the Passover Seder at my residence in Kiryat Bialik, with lucid and thoughtful world leaders, participate in the traditional Jewish Passover meal that conducted by the eighth consecutive time in the Land of Israel.

The Seder table were always present as the matzo or unleavened bread, bitter herbs or maror, or gefilte fish, stuffed fish, boiled eggs or beitzim cashot and wine red to symbolize the freedom and exodus of the Hebrews from Egypt some 30 centuries ago, after having endured four centuries of slavery.

I was lucky enough to sit down again with important people with whom I had the opportunity to share valuable words, while performing the reading of the Haggadah, which recounts the saga of Freedom of our people. Among blessings, Bible stories and wine glasses were shelling an interesting talk.

begin the Seder with full certainty shared by all:
"..... In each generation, each one should feel as if we ourselves left Egypt. "

the beginning of the Seder expressed these heartfelt words:

Most times, we feel that deep feeling of watching the world wander by foolishly abstract and redundant paths, like the protagonist of the story of our great Uruguayan writer Horacio Quiroga-in: "Adrift"

"The man was still value to get his canoe, and the current, taking her back, quickly led to the drift ... Down below, on the Golden River, canoe derived quickly, at times turning on itself same with the bubbling of a vortex "

Oh, dear world adrift, where are you going?, where are you taking us?. Since there is no logical possibilities that you can get off when we want and our destinies are inextricably linked in your continued spinning around and warm golden sun. Do you realize that those hit by the same ten plagues that Egypt suffered back then?

First Plague : The first plague is the blood.
The "Arab spring" that exotic and huge protest movement raging in the Arab world and could get to become "an Iranian winter." She got the back of the Muslim Brotherhood to Tunis and Cairo, has transformed Libya into a hell dantezco against Europe itself and further isolation, discredit and even the destruction of the Jewish state.

pest Second : The second plague is frogs.

lofty and shining They say many world leaders: "I will my libido and my willpower in the creation of a new state member of the community of nations, a free and democratic Palestine under the leadership of strong and popular Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas. Previously promoting Palestinian reconciliation and a peaceful Hamas moderate. All this will be determined by Western diplomatic pressure aimed solely at Israel and the discrete injection of billions of dollars to create a large Palestinian beacon illuminating the world with its traditional peaceful coexistence, their ever vibrant social and technological progress his undisputed human tolerance and pluralism. Always on the model and precedent that construction paradise that is the Islamic Republic of Gaza. "
They themselves state: " shall in all my determination and strength that Israel hand over the land that is not yours, these ancestral lands and history of Islam, from Gaza to Jerusalem, from Galilee to the Negev and of course from Judea and Samaria. Israel is a country too long and more than thirty Muslim nations are still landless, oil and money. We correct this historical injustice once and for all. "

Third pest : The third plague is of mosquitoes, lice and fleas.

The Genocide with atomic weapons. You realize that leaders and the holders of economic and military power do nothing to prevent the next nuclear genocide as Hiroshima and Nagasaki threat repeated but this time multiplied in power and destruction. These leaders prate and divert only possible actions towards innocent and hypocritical attempts at negotiations impossible with criminal psychopaths as Ajmanideyiad and his henchmen?
"They could achieve in seconds what Hitler did, and kill six million Jews, literally" no clocks going. One of these watches is the clock of the enrichment of uranium, showing that on a particular date, the Iranians will have enough highly enriched uranium to build a bomb that could literally wipe Israel off the map in seconds. Ambassador of Israel in the U.S., Michael Oren.

Fourth pest : The fourth plague is wild animals.

Abandoning the cry of freedom in Iran. You notice that in Iran of radical Islam, the sharia and the arms race nuclear, is drowning in blood, torture and persecution the cry of freedom of millions of Iranians who accept us but the dictatorship and fundamentalism Islamofascism of the ayatollahs and Ahmadinejad as world leaders look to one side, the rebels abandon their backs Iranians and those protesters who put at stake their lives for the values that the West claims to represent.

"Iran has already seized more than half of Palestinian society through its intermediary, the Hamas. If the Iranian regime falls, will not be long before Hamas in turn fall. " (Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, April 18, 2011).

Fifth Plague: The fifth plague is epidemic diseases.

indifference to genocide in Darfur. You will have noticed that a few years ago in Darfur region of western Sudan has committed a terrible genocide, widespread indifference to public opinion and the leaders of the West and the usual and predictable impotence of the UN. In the latest official data from 2007 is considered that the number of deaths from the fighting comes closer to the 750,000 deaths by starvation and slaughter. For world leaders, victims of genocide (black and poor) have been just the anonymous and silent corner universal oblivion.

Sixth Plague : The sixth plague is a skin disease "ulcer."

Press to bring Israel to its knees. How do you explain that world leaders share a common task, to press Israel to accept quite all the blame for the poor and suffering Palestinians condemn terrorist violence, not to recognize the Jewish character of Israel and acceptance of their inalienable rights live peacefully in the land of their ancestors.

Seventh Plague : The seventh plague is hail heavy rain mixed with fire.

hunger, poverty and injustice. You understand that "Hunger is an unpleasant or painful sensation caused by lack of food." A hunger that affects and to 1020 million, or 15% of world population and with clear growth trend. The gap between rich and poor is increasing day by day. Today, more than 3,000 million people lack decent life because of poverty and hunger, sustainable development on the planet is seriously threatened because a fifth of the world population consume recklessly with overexploitation of natural resources. The spectacular economic growth generated in recent years has helped to ensure human rights and to improve living conditions, by contrast, has increased inequality and injustice to truly scandalous levels. Modern or ancient Pharaohs show no signs of interest in the topic beyond merely declamatory attitudes and formal.

Eighth Plague: are The eighth plague of locusts.

Our habitat is being destroyed. You feel that your ecosystem is being destroyed by our present civilization, we have reached a limit ecological, earth is dying, our current civilization is killing and we are committing suicide beside her, that wonderful perfection that is the Earth and the universe itself is the only home we share millions of human beings with other forms of life. The new Pharaoh did not show great concern for the Grand Challenge to honor this amazing and miraculous balance of nature, to keep our petty selfishness and destroy it before it is too late.

Ninth Plague: The ninth plague is the Osur.
The Russian genocide in Chechnya has gone unpunished. You will hear that the Russian genocide exterminated about 100,000 Chechens, one in ten civilians, with the connivance of known permittivity and the Western world, the leaders say that peace advocates and human rights have no reproach to the heirs of the KGB, to the successor Vladimir Putin, who was executed in Chechnya one of the biggest genocides of recent times, looking the other way and received with great pomp at the summits international.

Tenth Plague: The tenth and final plague is the death of all firstborns.

The living conditions of millions of children. You know that the international organization Save the Children in its campaign "For a G-8 for children ', reports that 75,000 children will die because of the global economic crisis that is worsening the living conditions of millions of children. Today's world is not doing enough to save the lives of 9.2 million children die each year from easily preventable causes such as hunger and malnutrition, child abuse and neglect, marginalization and poverty, lack of appropriate treatments to prevent and preventable diseases. And above all things, by the genocidal indifference of those who hold economic power worldwide.

complain If all of these pests could move a mountain or just small pebbles. If tomorrow morning early, the newspaper accounts I would say that hunger, poverty, genocide and injustice are no longer in place both in the headlines. If my humble words serve for you, the leaders of the world, began to think a little bit in our suffering humanity rather than on spurious economic interests of hegemonic power.

If among all would do some effort to start change even if just a bit. So yes, these complaints would not be in vain, these complaints have some sense and I could sleep tonight pleasantly with the clear consciousness of having done enough.

With the special sense of pride and honor to have been featured in such an illustrious and brilliant Passover Seder, council my dream in my heavenly haven Kiryat Bialik, this time the euphoric feeling satisfaction of having shared an unforgettable night again, with my distinguished guests.

2011, year of anniversaries

This year is full of anniversaries of Japanese series, especially Tokusatsu series, as is the 45 anniversary of Ultraman , 40 of Kamen Rider and 35 of Super Sentai . Also, it is the 15 anniversary of Rurouni Kenshin , one of my favorite animes. I still remember when I got up at 7.30 in the morning to see on Canal +, that time ...

And to finish this year also happens to be my 25 anniversary XD nice all round numbers ...

Of Ultraman Super Sentai and was discussed in other entries, and not a matter of repeating walk. Kamen Rider and I am preparing a plan entry into pro like Godzilla and Super Sentai, so do not put anything for now.

By elimination we are left with Kenshin, samurai so many made us get up early on weekends ...

The most important announcement has been made regarding the anniversary of Kenshin is the realization of a new anime, but still do not know if continuation of the original series and will focus on the arches manga storylines that were left out of anime. Besides this, they are preparing new editions of both the OVA's and the BluRay movie.

The official web Rurouni Kenshin can already see the new character design and the new logo for the 15 anniversary. But I put it here if I get lazy.

I, personally, I like the design of the original series, this seems too delicate and feminine compared to its predecessor and the design of the OVA's. Anyway, best hope to watch the anime because there's always enough difference between the illustrations and animation.

And finally, I leave this figure so spectacular that they have also taken to mark the anniversary. As you can see, has two interchangeable heads if you want to have normal version or version angry. They released a limited edition figure like this but with blue kimono like the OVA's. Another important fact, the price of the figure between 100 and 90 € depending on the web where you shop.

is clear already that I will ask for my birthday, I will celebrate my 25 years with 15 years of Kenshin, but if they take a picture of Sanosuke things change ...

The last letter of a Hero.

Mordechai's last letter Anilewicz

(Warsaw, April 23, 1943)

is impossible to put into words what we've been.
One thing is clear, what happened exceeded our wildest dreams.
The Germans ran twice from the ghetto.
One of our companies held out for 40 minutes.
Another, more than 6 hours.
mines located in the area of the factory exploded brushes.
Several of our companies attacked the Germans scattered.
Our human losses are minimal, which also is a success.
And Yeie fell, fell like a hero in the machine gun.
feel that great things are happening and what we dare do
is extremely important ...

Starting from today we will adopt the tactics of the partisans.
Three companies moved fighters tonight
with two missions: reconnaissance and obtaining arms.
Remember, short arms scope will not do.
We use such weapons only rarely.
What we need urgently are grenades, rifles, machine guns and explosives.

is impossible to describe the living conditions of Jews in the Ghetto.
Only a few would stand firm.
The rest will die sooner or later. Their fate is decided.
In almost all the hiding places where they are, it is impossible to light a candle for shortness of breath.

Thanks to our transmitter we heard a wonderful story about our fight on the radio "Shavit".
To be remembered beyond the ghetto walls encourages us in the fight.
Peace be with you, buddy! Perhaps we meet again!

"my life's dream came true. Jewish armed resistance and revenge are facts. I've been witness the magnificent, heroic struggle of the Jewish fighters. "
